Alcohol & Beverages
Can I bring in my own alcohol?
No. In accordance with our ABC license, Durst Winery & Estate serves beer and wine only. Outside alcohol is not permitted.
What about non-alcoholic beverages?
Standard non-alcoholic beverages are included with your beverage package — such as soda, still and sparkling water — and can be customized to suit your event.
Food, Dessert & Vendors
Do you allow outside catering?
Yes. You are welcome to bring in licensed and insured caterers of your choice. Our Venue Coordinator will assist with vendor access and setup logistics.
Do you offer refrigeration for cake or dessert?
We have limited refrigerated space. Please coordinate with our Venue Coordinator in advance to discuss available options.
Can we bring in outside décor or rentals?
Yes, outside décor and rentals are welcome, provided they do not damage any property or landscaping. All items must be removed immediately following the event.
Venue Details
How long do we have access to the property?
You’ll have access to the estate from 10 AM – 10 PM, with a 5-hour event window for your ceremony and reception.
Can we host our rehearsal on site?
Yes. A 1-hour rehearsal is included prior to your event date and can be scheduled in advance.
What size tables do you provide?
Our standard guest tables are 60” rounds, comfortably seating up to eight guests per table.
What chairs are provided?
White resin chairs are included for ceremonies, and light wood chairs with cream-colored padding are provided for receptions.
What linen colors are available?
We offer a limited selection of linens in navy blue and white.
Is the venue handicap accessible?
Yes. The estate offers handicap-accessible restrooms and pathways throughout the main event spaces.
Do you allow live music or DJs?
Yes. Both are welcome. All entertainment must conclude by 9:45 PM in accordance with local sound ordinances.
Is smoking allowed?
No. Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the property due to Durst Winery’s designation as a historical estate.
Are children allowed?
Yes, children are welcome but must be supervised at all times while on the property.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are welcome for ceremonies only with prior approval. A handler must remain responsible for the pet at all times.
Event Requirements
Do I need event insurance?
Yes. A basic event insurance policy is required. All outside vendors must carry appropriate licensing and insurance for their services.
Does Durst Winery require a Day-Of Coordinator?
Yes. A Day-Of Coordinator is required and must be provided by the renting party to manage your timeline and vendors. Durst Winery will have a Venue Coordinator on site to oversee venue logistics and ensure the property runs smoothly.
Is there staff for setup and cleanup?
Vendors and your event team are responsible for setup and cleanup of décor and rentals. Our staff ensures the property and facilities are prepared prior to your event and maintained throughout.
Logistics & Accommodations
Is parking available for guests?
Yes. Complimentary on-site parking is provided for all guests.
Do you offer on-site accommodations?
Limited overnight accommodations are available with select packages. Please inquire for details.
Do you provide Wi-Fi?
Yes. Complimentary wireless internet is available throughout the property for you and your vendors.
Do you offer wine tastings or tours for couples?
Yes! We encourage couples to schedule a private tour and tasting to experience the estate before booking.
How do we reserve our date?
A signed contract and deposit are required to officially reserve your date. Once received, your date will be secured on our calendar.
